About the Role
Main Roads are seeking a committed and driven individual to join their Network Management Branch as Manager Network Management. This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive and innovative organisation and assist in shaping the future direction of asset and network management across Western Australia’s road network.
The Manager Network Management will be responsible for managing the development, implementation and maintenance of Main Roads state-wide asset and network management strategies, systems and processes to facilitate the effective management, sustainability and optimisation of the service and value from the state’s road network.
This role will take the lead in the development of route strategies and plans to ensure the longer-term sustainability of Main Roads assets and play a key role in the development and implementation of Main Roads Asset Management System, in alignment with ISO 55001.
The successful candidate will demonstrate extensive experience and success in similar roles. You will possess extensive skill and experience in managing road asset management (route planning and development) as well as either road planning, road and bridge design, road construction practices or road maintenance practices. You will have excellent interpersonal communication skills including the ability to liaise effectively with and influence a diverse range of both internal and external stakeholders.
