Aubin Grove Primary School (PS) is seeking to establish a pool of Early Childhood and Primary Teachers (Pre Primary – Year 6) for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2017 school year. Placements can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2017 school year.
High expectations will be placed on suitable applicants who will work in an environment characterised by whole school approaches; a strong commitment to professional learning; working in teams and accepting leadership roles and responsibilities beyond their own classroom. Suitable applicants will be committed to putting students first and implementing instructional skills and strategies that maximize students' engagement in their learning.

First opened in February 2011, Aubin Grove PS is a state of the art public primary school designed to offer an up to date, contemporary environment for student learning. The school is equipped with the latest in computer technology to facilitate student learning and also features highly practical and flexible learning and teaching spaces. Students have access to a complete Apple Mac environment including Mac Books, iMacs and iPads plus interactive whiteboards in every learning environment. Staff and students make outstanding use of the technologies to support and enhance learning and teaching programs.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment; and
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check.

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
