Meekatharra District High School (DHS) is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Manager Corporate Services to join their friendly team.
The Manager Corporate Services is responsible to the Principal for the management of the day-to-day financial, physical and human resource aspects of the school's business operations and supervises all school support staff. The successful applicant will have excellent interpersonal skills and be efficient, self-motivated and flexible. Experience with RM Finance, INTEGRIS and HRMIS would be an advantage.
Meekatharra DHS is located approximately 800 kilometres north east of Perth. The school draws from a diverse population of around 1,000 locally and 2,100 district-wide, representing Aboriginal communities, pastoral, mining and related service industries. The town of Meekatharra is renowned for its beautiful day time vistas, hot summer temperatures and spectacular sunsets. Meekatharra District High School caters for kindergarten to Year 12 students and has a total enrolment of 140 students, the majority being primary aged students. There is a large Aboriginal population in the town. This results in over 90% of students at Meekatharra District High School coming from Aboriginal families.
This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be appointed to other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate the following work related requirements:
- Oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the application ofcustomer service principles and practices.
- Relevant financial management skills, including input into budget preparation and theability to apply financial and accounting practices and procedures.
- Human resource management skills, including the ability to develop and/or applyhuman resource management practices and systems.
- Ability to implement and monitor business and/or marketing plans.
- Conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:

- Obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check.
- Provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy
TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- Complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- Complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy; and
- Complete the Department’s training in Accountability and Ethical Decision-Making within six months of appointment.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
