WHAT’S THE JOB? #LI-POST
You will be performing the duties within the frameworks of Australian Psychological Society’s Code of Ethics using clinical expertise.
Responsibilities and skills required:
- carrying out psychological assessments of children, adults and families
- engaging children and adolescents in psychological counselling
- working in collaboration with professionals and non-professionals within the child’s care system
- preparing and presenting psychological reports for courts
- providing psychological input to work setting projects and programs
CONDITIONS
This is a permanent, part time (52.5 hours per fortnight) opportunity.
Suitable applicants may be considered for similar vacancies that may arise within the next twelve (12) months.
Psychologist Level 2 and 3: Applicants must have full registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia or be very close to completing a Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA) approved Master’s Degree in Clinical Counselling or Forensic Psychology or approved equivalent. Applicants with practice area endorsement are encouraged to apply.
Additionally we require:
- substantiated evidence of your eligibility to live and work in Australia
- Working with Children Check (WWC)
- see section 7 of the JDF for additional pre-employment requirements
A criminal record check and departmental check will be conducted prior to commencement.
