The Department of Finance employs more than 1000 employees from multi-disciplinary backgrounds to deliver a broad portfolio of responsibilities. Degree majors in Accounting; Architecture; Arts; Commerce; Communications; Economics; Engineering; Law; Mathematics; Project Management; and Science are preferred, however, other degrees may be considered.

Australian Citizenship or permanent residency is essential, and applicants must have completed their university degrees in 2015 or 2016.
Graduates are employed on a fixed term contract and may be offered permanency subject to the availability of funding and performance. All suitable applicants will be placed in a recruitment pool. This pool will run for 12 months and may be used to fill similar positions that are either permanent or fixed term contract. Please note that being placed in the pool does not guarantee your placement in a position.
