The Transperth, Regional Town Bus and School Bus Services (TRSBS) branch is responsible for the overall system management of the Transperth network: Perth’s buses, trains and ferries. The branch also provides public town bus services and fare paying school bus services to regional communities and transport assistance to more than 25,000 school students each school day throughout WA.
About the role
We have an opportunity for an experienced Service Planning Officer to assist in the development and review of a rolling Public Transport Service Development Plan. You will conduct research of public transport usage including the development and coordination of passenger surveys as well as analyse and report on the public transport trends to enable effective service planning. .
About you
To be successful in this role, it is essential that you possess:

Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of contract management and public transport issues

Good interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills, with the ability to work in a team and contribute to the achievement of team goals.

Sound conceptual and analytical skills including the ability to research and evaluate information.
