Applicants please note: This is a maternity leave relief vacancy for a period of 6 months with a possible extension of up to a further 8 months. Permanent public sector employees are required to confirm availability to be released on secondment prior to applying for this role.

The Public Transport Authority (PTA) delivers a range of internal and external communications programs and projects as part of meeting our objective of providing a world-class public transport service.
The Corporate Communications branch currently has an opportunity available for a motivated person who has experience working on strategic communications programs.
In this role, as the Communications and Publications Manager you will be managing the planning development and implementation of internal and external communication strategies; the application of the PTA’s corporate style; and the production of key internal and external corporate documents.
Applicants must have extensive experience in public relations/communications to concisely and clearly deliver a broad range of communications while also developing and maintaining positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
