The Department for Child Protection and Family Support is the key Western Australian government agency responsible for child protection and family support services.

THE POSITION
We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic and self-motivated Recruitment Officer to provide relief while the substantive occupant is on secondment. Ideally, you will have some experience in a human resources or recruitment environment.
As a collaborative member of the recruitment team, you will be responsible for:
- providing support to hiring managers in the recruitment, selection, assessment and appointment of staff,
- ensuring all relevant documentation and systems are maintained appropriately,
- providing high quality service and advice that is proactive and solution focused,
- ensuring that Public Sector Standards in recruitment and selection are met and maintained.
Attention to detail and teamwork underpin success in this role as well as a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and provide quality customer service.
CONDITIONS
This Fixed Term Full Time vacancy may be filled as a secondment/acting opportunity for up to 6 months, with no possibility of a permanent appointment.
Suitable applicants for this position may be considered for future similar vacancies that may arise within the next twelve (12) months.
