The MCB is seeking an experienced project manager to manage the implementation of the new modules of payroll and HR information system (HRIS) which is delivered on time, within budget and to required standards.

So what does the job entail?
Duties include:
- Managing the HRIS project to successfully deliver project outcomes in conjunction with the project sponsor, the Manager Human Resource and Organisational Development (HR&OD);
- Developing comprehensive project transition plans. Identifies, tracks and records project timelines with the working group to ensure risks and issues are flagged and managed;
- Preparing reports as required outlining project status and the critical issues to be resolved;
- Developing and implements the change management plan;
- Developing documentation and procedures for HRIS;
- Ensuring ongoing user acceptance testing and education and training of all users of the system and related work modules prior to go live; and
- Providing follow-up assistance, support, training and evaluation post going live for an agreed period
This full-time, fixed term position is based at Karrakatta and will include travelling to other sites for project activities.
This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be appointed to other similar vacancies that occur for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.

- Certification in Prince2 or similar project management qualification.
- Experience in project management with the implementation of a human resources information system.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, and interpersonal, to be able to establish and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders and team members.
- Experience in change management and ability to manage the daily activities inclusive of scope, risks, timeframes, issues, and budget of the project.
- Commitment to ethical decision making.

The recommended applicant will be required to provide a current National Police Clearance prior to appointment that is less than six months old.
