Role
This position primarily assists the Coroners with the preparation, management and conduct of Inquest hearings. Counsel Assisting plays a key role in the maintenance of stakeholder relationships, both internal and external, and contribute to the development of policy and strategic management of the Coroner's Office.
A high degree of initiative, judgement and originality in the performance of professional work is required.
Tenure/duration of appointment: 6 month contract with the possibility of extension or permanency.
Special Requirements
On occassions, Counsel Assisting will be required to travel intrastate for Inquests.
