The People and Organisational Development Division currently have two challenging and rewarding opportunities for self-motivated, enthusiastic, suitably qualified and experienced rail trainers. There is one permanent full time position and one fixed term fulltime position until December 2017.
To apply for these positions it is essential that you have extensive rail experience and sound knowledge of the compliance and standards associated with the management of Registered Training Organisation (RTO) responsibilities. and how safeworking training would be implemented within a major organisation. In addition the possession of a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is required.
We are looking for someone with strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills as you will be liaising with diverse audiences and will need to build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
In these roles you will be responsible for the planning, delivery and evaluation of rail safeworking, rules, procedures and other training for the Public Transport Authority (PTA) You will also provide advice and support to stakeholders in relation to learning and development matters with a particular focus on PTA's Safe Working Rules and Regulations. You will also deliver, evaluate and review learning and development programs, develop training and assessment evaluation strategies and tools.
