THE POSITION
As a Team Leader you will manage the Fremantle Intake and Assessment team and respond to serious concerns regarding the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
Other key responsibilities of this role include:
- supporting the team by managing resources, assigning tasks and ensuring equitable distribution of workloads;
- supervising staff in relation to case work matters;
- convening and chairing planning forums for children in the CEO’s care;
- undertaking complex case work activities; and
- emergency management and response duties as required.
CONDITIONS
This is a fixed term full time (75 hours per fortnight) opportunity until 31 December 2016 with the possibility of extension and/ or conversion to permanency.
Suitable applicants for this position may be considered for future similar fixed term vacancies that may arise within the next twelve (12) months.
You must have a university bachelor or masters degree in Social Work, Bachelor of Psychology or relevant Human Services area to be considered for this position. All overseas qualifications must have been assessed for Australian equivalency.
