ABOUT THIS POSITION
Have you ever thought you would like to share your industry knowledge and experience with those learning about or starting in your industry? We are currently seeking candidates with experience and expertise in Sterilisation to plan, develop and deliver training and assessment to students in the Sterilisation study area.
As a Lecturer you will engage students in the learning process using varied delivery methods in a variety of learning environments. You will be valued for your industry relevance, which you will maintain through ongoing collaboration with industry and community networks and professional development. With your ability to be self-reflective, you will regularly analyse your own performance and seek feedback from others. Central will provide ongoing support to build and enhance your teaching and learning capabilities.

1. Drawing on your working experience with industry stakeholders, team members and/or students provide a statement of no more than 2 pages outlining your knowledge, skills and experience relevant to the following role requirements in context of the health industry:
a) Values:

b) Industry and Community Collaboration:
List 2 industry or community stakeholders you liaise with in your job role to ensure the services you deliver address your client’s needs and meet best practice standards. For each stakeholder, describe your level of involvement, how you co-operate with these stakeholders and how you keep updated with any changing needs/standards.
c) Professional/Technical Requirements
Please describe the health related knowledge, skills and abilities you possess and how you apply these to ensure you complete your job efficiently and effectively including demonstrated experience in the use of computer software.
- At least 5 years of vocational or lecturing experience in a relevant industrial vocation or professional field.
- TAE 40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment within 2 years of commencement. Early attainment of this qualification is supported and encouraged.
- Certificate III or higher in Sterilisation or other industry related qualification.
2. A one page cover letter explaining your interest in the position and outlining how you would draw on your previous experience to contribute to the delivery of the Sterilisation course.
3. Contact details of two professional referees; one must be an individual that your most recent role reports to; and
4. A comprehensive resume contextualised to the position.
