In this lecturing role your main focus is to teach, facilitate learning, assess and mentor students in accordance with relevant curriculum and/or training package requirements. In order to maintain quality educational services, you will be required to keep abreast of technological and other developments in vocational fields through professional development, to provide up-to-date information and advice to the institute, industry and students.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout our agency. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of 12 months from the initial date of the appointment.
Should no suitable applicant be identified, or an offer declined, the panel may search for further applicants beyond the closing date.
Eligibility for employment with Kimberley Training Institute is subject to;
- obtaining a satisfactory Department of Education Criminal Clearance.
- as this position will, or is likely to involve contact with children, the recommended occupant will also be required to obtain a Working with Children (WWC) Card.
- meeting citizenship/residency or Visa requirements. In order to be considered for a permanent position, the applicant must be an Australian citizen, Australian resident or be a New Zealand Citizen with Unrestricted work rights (for example, Special Category VISA[SCV]). In order to be considered for a fixed-term contract position, the applicant must be either an Australian citizen, Australian Resident, a New Zealand Citizen with Unrestricted work rights (for example, Special Category VISA[SCV]) or a temporary resident with a valid Working Visa.
