The Principal Lecturer undertakes an enhanced capability lecturer role, which provides institute and industry leadership in the area of Trades and Allied Industries. This role will exercise leadership and excellence in all aspects of learning, teaching development and delivery. In particular, this role will provide leadership in VET products and review and create policies to guide practice which is compliant with Quality Standards.
To be eligible for employment you need to have a minimum of 5 years teaching experience and possess a higher teaching qualification.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout our agency. Both of these options remain valid for a period of six (6) months from the initial date of the appointment.

Eligibility for employment at Great Southern Institute of Technology is subject to obtaining a satisfactory Department of Education Criminal Clearance. As this position will, or is likely to involve contact with children, the recommended occupant will also be required to obtain a Working with Children (WWC) Card.
