Job Description
-
Plans and implements designated marine research, monitoring and science communication consistent with work plans for the North West Shelf Flatback Turtle Conservation Program and the Marine Science Program.

Provides expert scientific advice on these matters.
Selection Criteria
Applicants should address the following four (4) criteria. These should be addressed in no more than three (3) pages in total.

Demonstrated capacity to plan and implement marine turtle research and monitoring project work (examples of expertise in one or more disciplines) including the capacity to lead a team.

Demonstrated field experience (including remote areas) and the ability to work with a diverse range of people.

Demonstrated experience in data analyses, including spatial analysis (Essential), including population modelling. (Desirable)

Demonstrated science writing skills including a publication record on marine vertebrate fauna, preferably marine turtles.
